The species name is derived from the Latin word falx “sickle”.
Distribution
Coastal regions and on the eastern slopes of the Great Divide from near Narooma, New South Wales, N to Bundaberg and also near Herberton and Ingham (c. 900 km N of Bundaberg), Queensland.
