About Us

Nita C Lester &
Joan Dillon

Joan Dillon and Dr Nita C Lester combine their talents to produce the contents of this web site for all gardeners.  Whether on clay, sand or volcanic soils, there will be a native for you.  Joan has been an Australian native enthusiast for decades. Nita with her botanical expertise offers the where for all why some plants will survive, and others do not.

Joan and Nita worked together to produce the garden book titles ‘Range and Hinterland Gardening’, 2023. This text includes natives that are easy to grow and source along with exotics that compliment garden design.
